Job summary

New Zealand Couriers in Penrose, Auckland, is seeking Customer Service Representatives to join a busy branch team. You’ll handle customer enquiries, track freight and support operations across the branch, collaborating with Operations, Fleet, Distribution and Sales to keep freight moving.

Two full-time roles, hours 7:30am–4:00pm or 9:00am–5:30pm with a rostered Saturday shift approximately once per month. Starting rate is $27.10 per hour, weekly pay, free onsite parking and easy access to public

Responsibilities

• Investigating and resolving service issues and customer queries.
• Processing bookings, freight requests and customer information accurately.
• Assisting with problem freight, including damaged, delayed or misdirected freight.
• Inspecting freight, completing repacks and reporting damage where required.
• Supporting operational activities including freight sorting, scanning and processing.
• Working collaboratively with Operations, Fleet, Distribution and Sales teams to achieve positive customer outcomes.

About the Role

Based at our Penrose Branch, our Customer Service Representatives play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our customers while supporting the day-to-day operation of the branch. This is much more than a desk-based customer service role.

You'll be talking with customers, resolving freight enquiries, investigating issues, coordinating service outcomes and working closely with our Operations, Distribution, Fleet and Sales teams to keep freight moving. You'll also get hands-on experience assisting with problem freight, damage inspections, repacks and other operational activities when required.

We are recrutining for 2 full-time positions based in Penrose, Auckland, working Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm or 9.00am-5.30pm (8 hours per day, 40 hours per week), with a rostered Saturday morning shift (4 hours) approximately once per month.

The starting rate for this position is $27.10 per hour, paid weekly. We also offer free onsite parking and are conveniently located close to public transport links.
