Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Wellington is seeking a Rental Operations Agent for a casual, on-site role at Wellington Airport. You will greet customers, process rentals and bookings, and help ensure high service standards.

Responsibilities include inspecting vehicles for damage, assisting with cleaning, and using our systems with full training provided. Parking is available, and a supportive team culture is offered.

Qualifications

• Full, clean, valid class 1 driver’s licence is essential.
• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, customer service or similar roles.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Comfortable learning and using various computer systems to accurately input rental information (training will be provided).
• Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards.

We have an opportunity for someone with exceptional customer service skills to join our team in Wellington as what we call a Rental Operations Agent. This is an entry level position and could be the first step in your career!

About the Role

From our customer counter you will greet and interact with customers, market products and services and complete rental transactions, contracts and bookings.

To ensure our customers always get the best experience, you will also be required to inspect vehicles for damages and assist with the cleaning of our vehicles from time to time.

What we are looking for :

• Full , clean, valid class 1 driver's licence is essential for this role
• Previous experience within retail, hospitality, customer service or similar roles
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivery exceptional customer service.
• Comfortable learning and using various computer systems to accurately input rental information (training will be provided)
• Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards.

We operate 7 days a week, 8 am to 5.30 pm, where you will be required to work as and when required during our operating hours. This means you could be called to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays as needed.
