Avis Budget Group International in Kerikeri Airport is hiring for a casual Rental Operations Agent. You’ll interact with customers at the counter, promote products, complete rentals, contracts and bookings, and assist with vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks.

We offer training, a standard hourly rate of NZ$25.11, uniform and parking, wellbeing benefits, staff discounts, and opportunities to move within our global company. Shifts vary across mornings, evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role with training provided.
• Full, clean, valid class 1 driver’s licence required.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

We operate 7 days a week, from 8.30 am to 9 pm where we are looking for someone to work as and when needed during our operating hours . This means you could be scheduled to work early mornings, evenings and weekends as required.

About the Role

As what we call a Rental Operations Agent you will be involved in all aspects of our business! This varied role covers both our front and back of house operations. On the counter you will be interacting with our customers, marketing products and services, completing rental transactions, contracts, and bookings.

On the other hand, you will be inspecting vehicles for damages and maintenance issues, driving, and parking our cars as well as cleaning vehicles (interior and exterior) in the wash bay so they are ready for our customers.

What we are looking for:

• Full, clean, valid class 1 driver’s licence is essential for this role.
• Previous experience within retail, hospitality, customer service or similar roles
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivery exceptional customer service.
• Comfortable learning and using various computer systems to accurately input rental information (training will be provided)
• Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards.
