Job summary

The Department of Conservation is seeking a Customer Service Centre Agent to join the Visitor Services Team. You will learn quickly and educate callers on a variety of queries from the public via phone and email.

The role requires you to respond to inquiries, direct callers to the right teams, and work across NZ with flexible hours from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. Based in Invercargill, Christchurch, or Nelson.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and customer service experience.
• Ability to respond to queries via phone and email.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
• The role benefits from prior call centre experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer queries by phone and email and direct callers to the appropriate team.
• Liaise with the public effectively and efficiently on a range of issues.
• Forward messages regarding compliance and direct to operations for action.
• Support a dynamic team with varied daily tasks in a nationwide service centre.
