Good Planet is a family-owned visitor destination in Kumeū, Auckland, bringing together pick-your-own strawberries, food, retail, outdoor attractions and seasonal experiences.
This is a varied role combining customer service, bookings, administration and seasonal recruitment support.
You’ll manage customer enquiries by phone and email, coordinate bookings, answer questions and help ensure every interaction with Good Planet is friendly, professional and efficient.
Behind the scenes, you’ll keep our booking systems, inboxes and customer records organised while providing general administrative support across the business.
During our seasonal recruitment period, you’ll also assist with coordinating recruitment and onboarding, helping ensure new team members have everything they need before joining us.
As the business continues to grow, you’ll have opportunities to become involved in projects, research, new systems and other operational initiatives.
Manage customer phone and email enquiries.
Coordinate customer bookings, amendments and cancellations.
Provide friendly, professional customer service.
Assist customers with information about our attractions, experiences and services.
Maintain accurate booking records and customer databases.
Help resolve customer enquiries and issues efficiently.
Manage shared inboxes and day‑to‑day administrative tasks.
Prepare documents, communications and reports as required.
Maintain organised filing systems and business records.
Support managers with a variety of administrative tasks.
Assist with projects and operational initiatives across the business.
Coordinate seasonal recruitment activities.
Manage applications and communicate with candidates.
Schedule interviews and maintain recruitment records.
Prepare employment documentation and onboarding information.
Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files.
You’ll ideally have:
Previous experience in customer service, bookings, reservations, tourism, hospitality or administration.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A warm, friendly and professional manner.
Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail.
Confidence using booking systems, databases, spreadsheets and digital systems.
The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong problem‑solving skills and sound judgement.
A proactive approach with the ability to work independently.
A willingness to learn new systems and take on new responsibilities.
Previous recruitment or HR administration experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
