Job summary

Air New Zealand is seeking a Crew Controller based in Auckland to manage daily crewing plans and respond rapidly to disruptions. The role supports timely departures and safe crew allocations across our jet network, contributing to an exceptional customer experience.

The position operates on a 6 days on, 3 days off roster and is based at Auckland Airport Campus. You will coordinate across teams and ensure crew resources meet contractual and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in rostering, planning or operations.
• Calm, solutions-focused approach to complex problems.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills.
• Good working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Understanding of airport or airline operations (advantageous).
• Thrives in a team environment and meets time-critical deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage daily operational crewing plans.
• Provide fast, effective crewing solutions during disruptions.
• Ensure crew assignments comply with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with internal teams to resolve resourcing challenges.
• Support network performance by maintaining efficient crew schedules.
