We're looking for a proactive and detail-focused Part-TimeComplianceManager to join our team. This is a critical role responsible for ensuringour Health & Safety, Food Safety, Regulatory Compliance, and Certificationprogrammes operate effectively across the store.
Working closely with Store Management and departmentalteams, you'll be the subject matter expert who helps create a culture wherecompliance is simply the way we work. You'll be equally comfortable auditingsystems, investigating incidents, coaching staff, and working alongsideoperational teams to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Health & Safety
- Leadand maintain the store's Health & Safety management systems.
- Conductrisk assessments, hazard reviews, store audits, and safety inspections.
- Investigateaccidents, incidents, and near misses, ensuring corrective actions areimplemented.
- Supportinjury management and return-to-work processes.
- FacilitateHealth & Safety committee meetings and support Health & SafetyRepresentatives.
- Promotea positive safety culture through engagement, communication, and training.
Food Safety & Compliance
- Overseethe Food Control Plan and ensure compliance with all food safetyrequirements.
- Ensurereadiness for internal and external audits.
- Manageproduct recalls, customer complaints, and product rejections.
- Maintaincompliance records and documentation to a high standard.
- CoordinateHACCP and food safety training programmes.
- Ensureregulatory requirements are communicated and implemented across alldepartments.
Regulatory & Operational Compliance
- Liaisewith Foodstuffs support teams and external regulatory agencies.
- Managecertification programmes including forklift licences, equipment servicing,and compliance records.
- Supportthe management of Building Warrant of Fitness requirements.
- Ensuremachinery, equipment, and operational systems remain compliant.
- Monitorcompliance performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications
- Previousexperience in a Compliance, Health & Safety, Food Safety, or QualityAssurance role.
- Experiencemanaging a Food Control Plan or HACCP-based programme.
- Experienceconducting audits and incident investigations.
- Strongcomputer skills including reporting and data management.
- FirstAid Certificate preferred.
- FMCG,retail, supermarket, food production, or manufacturing experience highlyregarded.
- Relevantindustry qualifications or certifications would be advantageous.
