Job summary

Westpac New Zealand is seeking a Configuration Specialist on a fixed-term contract up to 12 months. You will maintain the CMDB and ensure data accuracy to support ITOM, Service Mapping and Discovery within the Service Visibility Squad.

You’ll handle day-to-day CMDB administration, update CI and service information, investigate data quality, fulfill service requests and perform regular health checks to keep technology services reliable and visible.

Qualifications

• At least one year’s experience in a Service Management role, such as Technical Change Management, Problem Management or Service Desk; an Engineering role involving Service Management processes; or a Project Administration or Project Coordination role.
• Experience working in a large or complex enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and administration of the CMDB, ensuring accurate, current and reliable information.
• Update configuration items (CI) and service information; investigate data quality issues.
• Fulfill service requests and complete regular health checks to keep IT services reliable and visible.
