Job summary

Laura Fergusson Brain Trust – Christchurch, South Island is seeking a Clinical Operations Support Coordinator to help ensure our Community Services run smoothly. This role blends administration, systems support, reporting, and staff onboarding, working with managers, clinicians, and support teams.

You will develop dashboards, coordinate clinical administration, and improve workflows while providing hands-on support.

Qualifications

  • Experience in clinical administration, operational support, coordination, or business support roles.
  • Strong Microsoft 365 and technology skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Practical, solution-focused approach to problem-solving with strong communication and relationship-building.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience in ACC, healthcare, rehabilitation, disability support, community services, or not-for-profit sector is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating clinical administration and reception services across Community Services
  • Supporting and mentoring Clinical Administrators and Reception staff
  • Assisting with staff onboarding and training in systems and processes
  • Supporting the effective use of business systems, technology, and digital tools
  • Producing reports and dashboards to support service monitoring and planning
  • Maintaining fleet, equipment, asset, and facilities processes
  • Identifying opportunities to improve systems, workflows, and service efficiency
  • Providing hands-on administrative support when required

We're looking for an organised and proactive Clinical Operations Support Coordinator to support the day-to-day functioning of our Community Services team.

This is a varied role that combines administration, systems support, reporting, technology coordination, staff onboarding, and operational problem-solving. You'll work alongside managers, clinicians, administrators, and support teams to help ensure our services run efficiently and staff have the tools and support they need to do their best work.

If you enjoy improving processes, supporting people, working with data and technology, and being the person who helps things happen behind the scenes, we'd love to hear from you.

No two days will be the same. You'll provide practical support across a range of operational activities, including:
