Job summary

New Zealand Health Group in Rotorua is seeking a Service Delivery Manager for Intensive Support Services. You will lead a team of support workers delivering clinically informed, person-centred disability services for rangatahi and adults, ensuring high-quality care and integrated support.

The role requires strong people management, budgeting and cross‑team collaboration, with on‑call involvement and a focus on delivering positive outcomes within funded contracts.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading a team in disability or community services.
  • Strong leadership and budgeting experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and emotional intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain an engaged, motivated and high performing team across the services you lead.
  • Monitor and effectively manage the quality performance of services.
  • Deliver appropriate quality-of-life, clinically informed, person-centric support for the people we support in our services.
  • Ensure the balanced management of funding contracts in your area, to ensure both customer needs and financial requirements are met.
  • Build and maintain strong, open communication with the people we support, and their families/whānau, communities, and natural support networks.
  • Experience in a service management/operations role, preferably within the disability or community services sectors.
  • Strong background in Intensive Support Services, experience managing complex cases, and familiarity with ACC processes.
  • Strong leadership experience, a passion and expertise for developing skills in others.
  • Previous financial and budget management experience.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.

As a Service Delivery Manager - Intensive Support Services - Disability, you will possess strong people management experience, leading a team of support workers to ensure the people we support are placed at the heart of everything we do.

Based in Rotorua this full time role requires being on call the occasional weekend.

You will be responsible for the following:
