Job summary

Foodstuffs North Island is hiring for a Permanent Full-Time role at our Hamilton store. You will support the checkout team, lead shifts, and assist customers at checkout and self-checkout, helping maintain a vibrant store environment.

We value experience in retail, leadership, calmness under pressure, and teamwork. You’ll work across shifts, including early mornings, late evenings and weekends, with ongoing training and the chance to gain your Managers Certificate.

Qualifications

• Previous customer or retail experience.
• Previous supervisor experience or demonstrated leadership and communication skilld.
• The ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
• A great team player.

Responsibilities

• Support the checkout team and lead some shifts
• Serve customers at Checkout and help them at self-checkout
• Help maintain a positive, high-energy team environment
• Help keep the front of our store looking fabulous
