Job summary

Heritage Lifecare is seeking a dedicated Caregiver for Redroofs Lifecare in Dunedin. Permanent Part-Time (12 hours per week) with Saturday and Sunday shifts. You will bring a warm, compassionate attitude and provide high-quality care to residents in a supportive, home-like setting.

You will be part of a caring team that values empathy, safety, and excellent customer service while helping residents with daily activities and comfort needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience caring for others, ideally within an aged care environment.
• Minimum NZQA Certificate in Health and Wellbeing, or an equivalent New Zealand or overseas qualification.
• At least six months experience as a Caregiver or in a similar role.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• A genuine love for helping people, excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and positive attitude.

About Our Role

• Must be available Saturdays and Sundays
• AM's and PM's shifts

Your Skills And Experience

• Proven experience caring for others, ideally within an aged care environment.
• Minimum NZQA Certificate in Health and Wellbeing, or an equivalent New Zealand or overseas qualification (e.g. Bachelor of Nursing, Diploma in Nursing)
• At least six months experience as a Caregiver or in a similar role.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• A genuine love for helping people, excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and positive attitude.
• A passion for continuous improvement, with a sound understanding of the importance of health and safety procedures.
