Summerset Retirement Villages’ Trentham Village is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support residents with daily living, meals, personal care and activities.

You will work in a rotating 4 days on/2 days off pattern across morning, afternoon and night shifts, delivering respectful care while building relationships. Prior aged care experience is preferred and a friendly team environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Empathetic, kind and patient.
• Experience in aged care or similar role.
• Strong verbal communication and ability to build lasting relationships.
• Commitment to a rotational roster across morning, afternoon and night shifts.
• Able to work a roster pattern of 4 days on and 2 days off.

Job Description

As a Caregiver at our Trentham Village you will work as part of a team that creates the safest, healthiest and most enjoyable lifestyle for our residents. This role is varied and centres around providing personal care and assistance to our resident’s daily lives.

Typical Duties Include

• Delivering meals and helping with mealtimes
• Aiding with hygiene, such as showering
• Assisting with Individual care plan requirements, such as walks and exercises
• Helping with activities, such as puzzles, table tennis etc

The shift/hours for this role are: 4 on 2 off PM Shifts (40-50hrs per fortnight)

You will naturally be empathetic, kind and patient, and thrive in a role where your compassion and care make a difference to people’s lives.

You’ll Bring With You

• Experience in aged care or a similar role
