Job summary

Summerset Holdings is seeking dedicated caregivers for Summerset in the Vines village. You will join a team delivering personal care and daily living support to residents, ensuring safety and enjoyment in daily life.

Ideal candidates are empathetic, patient, with aged care experience and strong communication. Rotational rosters across mornings, afternoons, and nights are required to meet resident needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care or a similar role.
• Strong verbal communication skills and relationship-building.
• Commitment to a rotational roster across morning, afternoon and night shifts.
• Ability to work a 4 days on / 2 days off roster pattern.

Responsibilities

• Delivering meals and assisting with mealtimes.
• Aiding with hygiene, such as showering.
• Assisting with individual care plan activities like walks and exercises.
• Supporting residents with daily activities and social engagement.

Job Description:

As a Caregiver at ourSummerset in the Vines village,you will work as part of a team that creates the safest, healthiest and most enjoyable lifestyle for our residents. This role is varied and centres around providing personal care and assistance to our resident’s daily lives.

Typical duties include:

• Delivering meals and helping with mealtimes
• Aiding with hygiene, such as showering
• Assisting with Individual care plan requirements, such as walks and exercises
• Helping with activities, such as puzzles, table tennis etc

We have 2 positions available:

• Full-time: 60 - 80hours per fortnight on a 4 days on, 2 days off roster with a mix of AM and PM shifts.
• Part-time: 48 hours per fortnight from Monday - Thursday, 7am - 1:30pm.

You will naturally be empathetic, kind and patient, and thrive in a role where your compassion and care make a difference to people’s lives.

You’ll bring with you:

• Experience in aged care or a similar role
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
• Commitmentto a rotational roster across morning, afternoon and night shifts
• Ability to work a roster pattern of 4 days on and 2 days off
