Summerset Trentham Village in Wellington is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to join our team. You will provide personal care and assist residents with daily activities, meals, hygiene and mobility, delivering a safe and enjoyable living environment.

The role offers night shifts on a 2 days on, 4 days off pattern (32–48 hours per fortnight), with weekend rate uplift and a range of benefits. Experience in aged care and strong communication are valued.

Formación

• Experience in aged care or a similar role.
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships.
• Commitment to night shifts.
• Ability to work a roster pattern of 2 days on, 4 days off.

Job Description

As a Caregiver at our Trentham Village you will work as part of a team that creates the safest, healthiest and most enjoyable lifestyle for our residents. This role is varied and centres around providing personal care and assistance to our resident’s daily lives.

Typical duties include:

• Delivering meals and helping with mealtimes
• Aiding with hygiene, such as showering
• Assisting with Individual care plan requirements, such as walks and exercises
• Helping with activities

The shift/hours for this role are: 2 days on, 4 days off night shifts (32 - 48hrs per fortnight).

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care or a similar role
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
• Commitment to night shifts
• Ability to work a roster pattern of 2 days on, 4 days off.
