Job summary

Avani Queenstown Hotel, part of Minor Hotels, seeks a dynamic Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead our café team and deliver exceptional guest experiences. This full-time role requires morning and weekend shifts, guiding day-to-day operations and ensuring first-class service.

You will work closely with the kitchen to maintain high standards, train staff, and promote our food and beverage offerings while ensuring a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications

• 12+ months in a supervisory role within hospitality.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a restaurant, cafe or hotel environment.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• A proactive, positive, and professional attitude.
• Flexibility to work weekends and occasional evenings.
• Diploma in Hospitality Management or similar (advantageous but not essential).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily floor operations to ensure efficient, high-quality service.
• Work closely with the F&B Manager to achieve operational and service goals.
• Build knowledge of our F&B offerings and promote them to guests.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver consistent quality and presentation.
• Supervise, train, and support F&B Attendants to perform at their best.
