Sime Darby Transport (NZ) Ltd in Hamilton is seeking an experienced Branch Supervisor to support the Branch Manager in daily leadership and peak operations. You will lead the team, drive sales, deliver outstanding customer service, and ensure operational excellence while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven success in a sales or customer service role, preferably within the transport, automotive or heavy vehicle industry.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong communication, coaching and people leadership skills.
• Customer-first mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive, self-motivated approach and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Strong commitment to Health and Safety.
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Support the Branch Manager in the day-to-day leadership and operation of the branch.
• Oversee branch administration, including credits, warranty processing and invoice reconciliation.
• Ensure accurate inventory management through effective bin location control and timely cycle counts.
• Process customer enquiries and orders efficiently while meeting service standards and delivery expectations.
• Assist in achieving or exceeding branch sales, revenue and gross margin targets.
• Promote a positive team culture and collaborate effectively with colleagues across the wider business.
