Job summary

Belron New Zealand, through Smith & Smith Hastings, seeks a Branch Manager to lead a skilled autoglass team and oversee daily operations. You’ll drive service excellence, safety, and a growth-oriented culture while ensuring customer satisfaction at every touchpoint.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years as an autoglass tech or similar leadership in ops or service, strong communication, and a valid NZ driver’s license.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience as an autoglass technician or equivalent in ops or customer service.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate complex issues into actionable steps.
• Solid understanding of Safety, Health, and Wellbeing practices.
• Excellent communication to ensure clarity across team and customers.
• Team-building experience to leverage diverse skills.
• Commercial awareness to drive business success.
• Clean NZ driver's license and unrestricted work rights in NZ.

About the role – Branch Manager at Smith&Smith® - Hawkes Bay

About You:

• At least 3 years’ experience as an autoglass technician, including repair, replacement, and ADAS recalibration — or equivalent experience in an operational or customer service role within the autoglass or similar industry.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex issues into clear, actionable steps.
• A solid understanding of Safety, Health, and Wellbeing practices, with a track record of applying them effectively in line with company policies.
• Excellent communication skills, ensuring clarity, collaboration, and a shared understanding across your team and with customers.
• Team-building experience, with a focus on leveraging diverse skills and perspectives to achieve shared goals.
• Commercial awareness, using your knowledge of the industry and market trends to help drive business success.
• A clean, full New Zealand driver’s licence.
• Unrestricted rights to work in New Zealand.
