Job summary

Belron New Zealand is seeking a Fixed Term Summer Technician in Rotorua to support the Auto Glazing team with repair and calibration of vehicle glass, delivering high‑quality workmanship.

You will interact with customers, provide expert advice, and upsell value‑added products while enjoying comprehensive training, leading gear, and development opportunities within the Belron group.

Qualifications

• Motivated to learn hands-on automotive repair tasks.
• Excellent customer service and communication in English.
• Clean driver's license and NZ work rights.

30 hours, rostered across the week (Mondays to Sundays)

What we’re looking for

• Motivated people with a passion for hands‑on work, and a genuine interest in advancing technical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• No prior Autoglass repair and replacement experience is necessary as we provide comprehensive training.
• A passion for exceptional customer service.
• The ability to learn new technology and systems quickly.
• Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to upsell value‑added products and services.
• Physical capability to repetitively lift heavy items (up to 25kg) during a normal working day.
• A clean driver's license (restricted or full class) is a minimum requirement.
• You must have unrestricted rights to work in New Zealand.
• The preferred candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening test.
