Belron NZ Ltd – Smith Smith North Shore is seeking an Area Manager for the North Auckland and Northland Region. Reporting to the National Operations Manager, you will oversee operations of corporate service locations and mobile services, hire and develop teams, implement Belron standards, and drive brand awareness and profitability across your territory.

This role requires travel, strong leadership, customer focus, and the ability to manage multiple branches.

Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple branches with strong operational and commercial focus.
• Proven ability to build relationships and lead diverse teams across regions.
• Track record of delivering business excellence and continuous improvement.
• Customer focused with experience in account or sales management preferred.
• Strong people leadership and influencing skills.
• Willingness to travel and hold a full NZ driver’s licence.
• Unrestricted rights to work in New Zealand.
• Willing to complete a drug and alcohol pre-employment test.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of Smith Smith North Auckland locations and mobile services.
• Hire, train and develop effective teams.

About the role

Area Manager at Smith&Smith® - North Auckland and Northland Region Reporting to the National Operations Manager, you will oversee the operations of Smith&Smith® corporate service locations and mobile services, support authorised dealers and business development opportunities in the North Auckland and Northland Region. You’ll be hiring, training, and developing effective teams, implementing Belron® standards, and working cross-functionally to achieve success. Ultimately, the Area Manager is accountable for driving brand awareness and increasing profitability within their territory. Location: Smith&Smith North Shore Hours: 40 hours per week between 07:00am – 07:00pm Monday to Friday

What we’re looking for

• Seasoned in managing multiple branches with a keen eye for operational and commercial success.
• Experienced in fostering strong relationships and managing diverse teams across geographies.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering business excellence and continuous improvement.
• Customer focused with a commitment to delivering a first-class experience, account - or sales management experience preferred.
• Strong people management, team leadership and influencing skills.
• A passion for Smith&Smith’s mission to keep Kiwis safe on the road, at home and at work.
• Ability to travel frequently.
• A clean, full New Zealand driver’s licence.
• Unrestricted rights to work in New Zealand.
• Must be willing to complete a drug and alcohol pre-employment test as part of our selection process.
