Retailworld Resourcing is seeking an experienced retail leader to join a well-established New Zealand retailer in a consultative showroom in Papamoa. The role focuses on leading a team, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving sales in a showroom environment.

You will support day-to-day operations, coach staff, and maintain premium showroom standards while building strong customer relationships and ensuring accurate quotations and orders. Applicants must have valid NZ working rights.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a retail team in a showroom or store setting.
• Strong consultative sales and customer service capability.
• Able to coach and motivate a team to hit sales targets.

• Deliver a personalised showroom experience and tailored product solutions.
• Build genuine customer relationships and guide customers through their purchase.
• Drive sales performance and support the team to achieve targets.
• Maintain high showroom presentation and visual merchandising standards.
• Prepare customer quotations and process orders accurately.
• Assist with rostering, performance management and general store operations.
• Collaborate with the wider team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

About the Role

• Previous retail leadership or Assistant Store Manager experience
• Strong consultative sales and customer service experience

• Commercially focused and motivated by achieving sales results
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• A positive, hands-on approach to leadership
