Job summary

Retailworld Resourcing in Hamilton East is seeking a hands-on Sales Manager to lead a busy showroom. You will drive sales, deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a beautifully presented retail environment.

You will manage a small team, coach staff, and ensure the showroom reflects top-quality interiors and furniture. The role requires strong leadership, sales momentum and a passion for design.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of retail sales experience, ideally in premium retail, furniture, interiors or homewares.
• Leadership experience, including managing three or more direct reports.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and deliver strong commercial results.
• Genuine interest in interior design, furniture, home styling and quality products.
• Confident, outgoing personality with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong coaching skills and the ability to bring out the best in a team.
• Excellent organisation, administration and time management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and retail systems.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach and willingness to get involved in all aspects of the business.
