Jora New Zealand will close on 16th September 2026. Thank you for being with us, we are cheering you on as you continue your career journey.

The Company
Redpath Partners are proud to be partnering with Goodman, one of New Zealand’s leading industrial property and infrastructure organisations.

Goodman owns, develops and manages high-quality logistics properties and essential infrastructure across key global markets. With significant growth underway across its Data Centre platform, the New Zealand business is expanding its specialist development capability to support the delivery of technically complex, large-scale digital infrastructure projects.

This is an opportunity to join a growing team at an exciting stage of Goodman’s Data Centre journey, supporting projects that will play an important role in New Zealand’s digital infrastructure landscape.

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Data Centre Development, the Assistant Project Manager will provide project management and coordination support across the delivery of Data Centre development projects.
This is a broad and hands-on role offering exposure across all stages of the development lifecycle, including design, procurement, enabling works, construction, commissioning and handover.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors and external authorities, supporting the successful delivery of projects in line with programme, budget, quality and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting project delivery across design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover

This role will suit an ambitious Project Coordinator or Assistant Project Manager looking to take the next step in their career within a technically complex development environment.

You may currently be working for a project management consultancy, developer, contractor or infrastructure organisation and will have developed a strong understanding of the construction and project delivery lifecycle.

Data Centre experience is not essential. However, an interest in technically complex projects and the ability to work across multiple stakeholders and project workstreams will be important.

You’ll likely bring:

  • 2+ years experience in project management or project coordination
  • Experience within construction, property development, infrastructure or a related sector
  • Exposure to project reporting, documentation, cost tracking and project administration
  • Confidence working with consultants, contractors and external stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project
  • Experience using project management and document control platforms such as Aconex or Procore
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline

What’s on Offer

  • Opportunity to join one of New Zealand’s leading property and development organisations
  • Exposure to the rapidly growing Data Centre and digital infrastructure sector
  • Work across technically complex, large-scale development projects
  • Broad exposure across the full project development and delivery lifecycle
  • Work closely with experienced development, design and delivery professionals
