Job summary

Remarkable People Limited is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join a well-established Wellington team. This senior, hands-on role puts you in charge of delivery from planning through handover, leading site teams and coordinating with QS, subcontractors, consultants and clients.

You will drive safety, schedule and budget, build strong stakeholder relationships, and identify efficiencies to add value across projects.

Are you an experienced Construction Project Manager with a strong track record of delivering successful projects from start to finish?

We are looking for an accomplished Project Manager to join a well-established construction team in Wellington. This is a senior, hands-on role where you will take ownership of project delivery, lead site teams, manage key stakeholder relationships and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time and within budget.

Reporting to the Construction Director, you’ll oversee all aspects of your assigned projects while providing leadership to project teams and working closely with Quantity Surveyors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and clients.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Proven experience successfully managing construction projects.
• Strong general knowledge across multiple construction disciplines.
• Demonstrated leadership and people management experience.
• A strong commitment to health and safety.
• Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills.
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of project budgets and contractual requirements.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills.
• The ability to confidently manage clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
• A proactive approach to problem solving and project delivery.
• A reputation for reliability, accountability and following through on commitments.
• A continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on creating efficiencies and adding value.
