Job summary

Auckland Airport is seeking an experienced Programme Coordinator to support airfield projects. This office-based role ensures the programme team stays accurate, successful and effective by coordinating activities and liaising with project leaders.

You will create and update purchase orders, link information between project managers and stakeholders, and help deliver governance reporting, performance indicators and procurement tasks essential to the programme.

Qualifications

• Experience as a project administrator / programme coordinator for construction or site-based works.
• Experience supporting project management activities.
• Ability to work in complex, operational environments where safety, stakeholder coordination and clear communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate deliverables from Programme Director, Project Directors and Project Managers.
• Best practice information management consistent with Infrastructure processes and procedures overseeing the delivery of all project/programme reporting requirements, including financial performance and reporting.
• Supporting governance reporting requirements to the Auckland Airport Executive, Board committees and the Board.
• Providing lead and lag indicators of programme performance to the project team and supporting ongoing commercial discipline and performance.
• Welcoming new starters to the team, and inducting them into the business, and to Infrastructure processes and procedures.
• Management of positive, collaborative and supportive team relationships
• Assist the project team to co-ordinate relevant activity
• Managing and coordinating programme events and internal and external communications
• Ensuring the working environment is fit for purpose
• Supporting coordination across live airfield projects, including programme reporting, procurement activities and project controls
