Job summary

Ocean Installer in Stavanger seeks a Senior Subcontract Specialist to lead tendering and subcontract management on complex subsea projects within an international team.

You will drive commercial and contractual issues, support project managers, and contribute to frame agreements while ensuring timely delivery and cost control.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in business or legal is preferred, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Tendering process toward subcontractors: clarify needs, issue ITT, rounds, negotiate and finalise contracts.
• Manage subcontracts on a project level; ensure terms, apply changes and amendments as required.
• Commercial management of subcontractors; monitor and address contractual issues.
• Change management of contracts and extensions or renewals.
• Support Project Managers with contractual/commercial guidance.
• Collaborate across functions to improve position in tenders and reviews.
• Monitor milestones, deliverables, invoicing and compliance.

• Responsible for the tendering process towards our subcontractors: working with tender team to clarify need, construction and issuing of ITT documents, clarification rounds, negotiate with suppliers and set the final contracts
• In charge of managing subcontracts on a project level; Ensuring compliance with the terms and conditions and implement changes/amendments as may be required
• Commercial Management of the subcontractors; monitor and follow up commercial and contractual issues as required by the contracts
• Change Management of contract
• Assist Project Managers and other project personnel regarding contractual and commercial issues
• Liaise with other functions to improve the position of OI. Contribute in contractual and commercial reviews, discussions, negotiations and decisions in tenders
• Monitor transaction compliance (milestones, deliverables, invoicing etc.)
• Ensure contract close out, extension or renewal, and experience transfer to future contracts
• Take part in securing and develop long term Frame Agreements when required
