Job summary

DeepOcean is seeking a Group Procurement Director to define and drive the global procurement agenda. You will combine strategic leadership, commercial excellence and digital transformation to create lasting value across regions while building a future-fit procurement function that supports growth ambitions.

As part of the corporate leadership, you will report to the CFO and work with regional procurement leaders, finance and operations worldwide to establish common ways of working, unlock

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
• Minimum 10 years in a Senior Management/Executive director-level role.
• Global experience in Supply Chain Management.
• Proven procurement strategy development and implementation experience.
• Strong commercial, financial and contractual understanding.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement DeepOcean's global procurement strategy, governance framework and operating model.
• Drive cost savings and Total Cost of Ownership improvements while ensuring sustainable value creation.
• Lead category management and strategic sourcing initiatives across the organization.
• Negotiate and manage strategic supplier agreements and strengthen supplier performance.
• Drive procurement digitalisation, spend transparency and AI-enabled improvements.
• Ensure procurement compliance, risk management and sustainable sourcing practices.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across Finance, Operations and regional business units to deliver strategic priorities.

As our new Group Procurement Director, you will define and drive DeepOcean's global procurement agenda. Combining strategic leadership, commercial excellence and digital transformation, you will create lasting value across regions while biolding a future-fit procurement function that supports our growth ambitions.

You will be part of DeepOcean's corporate leadership environment, reporting directly to the CFO and working closely with regional procurement leaders, finance, operations and executive stakeholders worldwide. Together, you will establish common ways of working, unlock synergies across regions and strengthen DeepOcean's position as a leading ocean services provider.

What should you do?

Develop and implement DeepOcean's global procurement strategy, governance framework and operating model

What background and expertise do you bring with you?

To be successful in this role, we believe you have:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance or a related field

Minimum 10 years of Senior Management/Executive director-level role.

Global experience in Supply Chain Management.

Proven experience developing and implementing procurement strategies in complex international organizations

Strong commercial, financial and contractual understanding

Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal

It would be considered an advantage if you also have:

Experience from offshore, subsea, oil & gas or renewable energy industries

Experience leading procurement transformation and digitalisation initiatives
