Dovre Solutions is seeking a Senior / Principal Engineer to join our Stavanger team in technical safety. The role covers FSA, SIL, area classification, and fire and gas / ESD tasks, with a focus on offshore process safety design and regulatory compliance.

You will work within FEED and early study projects, collaborating across disciplines and language requirements in Norwegian and English. The position is on-site in Stavanger, offering an opportunity to impact major oil & gas assignments.

Competenze

• Master or Bachelor degree within relevant topics.
• Experience in Oil & Gas on the NCS.
• Experience with FEED and early study projects (preferred).
• Knowledge of offshore process safety design.
• Experience with HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA and WHERA.
• Knowledge of NORSOK, PTIL, ISO, PSA and API standards.
• Strong communication in Norwegian and English (oral and written).
• Cooperative, systematic, and accurate with a high deadline quality focus.
• High degree of self-learning ability.

Function

As part of the technical safety team you will have the opportunity to work in some of the following areas:

• Functional Safety Engineering (FSA).
• Safety integrity level (SIL).
• Area classification.
• Fire and Gas (F&G) / Emergency shut down (ESD).
• Escape routes and evacuation means.
• Passive and active fire protection (PFP).
• Working environment (WHERA, chemical risk analysis, Human factors).
• External environment (BAT assessment, environmental budget, energy demand, air emissions, discharge to sea, chemical usage).

Requirements

Required Education:

• Master or Bachelor degree within relevant topics.

Required Work Experience:

• Work experience within the Oil&Gas industry in the NCS.
• Experience with FEED and early study projects (preferred).
• Experience and knowledge of offshore process and process safety design.
• Experience with HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, WHERA.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, i.e. NORSOK, PTIL, ISO, PSA, API standards etc.

• Have good communication skills, orally and written, in Norwegian and English.
• Have a cooperative working attitude.
• Be systematic and accurate.
• Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements.
