Job summary

Engineering Consultants Norway AS in Bergen seeks a Senior Engineer in Technical Safety with 5-10 years of offshore design and modification experience in Norway. You will perform detailed design tasks on safety systems, ensure compliance with Ptil, ISO, and NORSOK standards, and coordinate across disciplines.

The candidate must have a Master/Bachelor in technical safety and excellent Norwegian and English communication skills.

• Give input regarding cost and plan activities for safety aspects of the project.
• Identify and facilitate required risk and verification activities e.g. HAZID, WEHRA and design reviews.
• Follow-up of client, vendors and 3rd Parties.
• Support and follow-up of engineers.

Required Work Experience:

• 5-10 years of relevant experience within offshore design and modification work in Norway.


• Experience should give capability of working independently on the V&M projects while collaborating effectively with stakeholders


• Knowledge of Ptil requirements, ISO- and NORSOK standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to show a high degree of self-learning skills


• Excellent Norwegian and English writing and speaking skills
