MDE Group is seeking a Senior Project Planner to develop and maintain schedules for the Civil scope on EPC projects in Norway. You will proactively collect planning information from stakeholders and integrate subcontractor schedules into the overall plan.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of five years of experience in EPC project planning, with preference for Civil planning and oil & gas industry exposure. Proficiency with Safran Project is highly valued.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree within a technical or commercial discipline.
• Relevant experience may compensate for a lack of formal qualifications.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning within EPC projects.
• Experience with Civil planning is preferred.
• Experience from EPC, modification, or field development projects within the oil and gas industry is highly desirable.
• Experience using Safran Project planning software.

• Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and cost control activities for the Civil scope.

• Lead project progress reviews and validate reported progress against planned activities.

• Develop and recommend optimization and mitigation measures to maintain project progress.
• Monitor and follow up project schedules in accordance with contract requirements, authority regulations, and company procedures.
• Provide scheduling analyses and reporting to the Planning Manager and Project Management team to support informed decision‑making.
• Communicate schedule deviations and potential issues, ensuring timely corrective actions and performance improvements.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve project schedules and ensure implementation of improvement initiatives.
