Job summary

Head Energy is seeking a Senior Planner to manage planning, resources and costs for engineering scope on EPC projects. The role requires strong scheduling skills, risk analysis, and proactive optimization of the project timeline.

Candidates should have 3+ years in project planning, experience with Safran Project, and strong English communication. The position emphasizes deadlines, quality, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor in technical or commercial topics. Relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal qualifications.
• Minimum 3 years work experience within project planning from EPC projects.
• Experience from engineering planning.
• Experience with Safran Project.
• Experience with client methods.
• Excellent skills within Safran Project; Primavera considered.

We are looking for Planning / Senior Planner Pnr: 23747

• Schedule planning, resource planning and cost control for the engineering scope. This requires proactively collecting information from various stkaholders in the project.
• Establish and maintain Level 4 (and Level 5?) for the engineering scope.
• Lead project progress reviews and validate & challenge actual progress.
• Highlighting the critical path and risks linked to the project schedule for the scope and propose the optimization & mitigation actions.
• Follow up the overall scheduling according to contract, authority regulations and client work processes.
• Provide planning manager and project management with scheduling analysis to ensure correct management decisions.
• Communicate all potential scheduling issues to planning manager to ensure needed adjustments, mitigations and improved performance.
• Proactively search for opportunities to improve the schedule and ensure materialization of these.

Qualifications

• Highly competent within critical path analysis, schedule risk analysis – monitor and follow up closely
• Scenario planning with the ability to suggest mitigating actions to recover project delay.
• Experience with working together with contract, estimation, risk and cost resources to ensure alignment between plan and their deliverables.
