Job summary

Head Energy Consulting AS is seeking a Planning / Senior Planner to lead schedule planning, resource planning and cost control for Civil scope on EPC projects. The role requires minimum 5 years of experience in project planning and proficiency with Safran Project.

The position offers permanent or project employment with good pension and insurance schemes. Responsibilities include establishing Level 4/5 schedules, coordinating with subcontractors, and delivering scheduling analyses to support

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years work experience within project planning from EPC projects.
• Experience with and working knowledge of Safran Project.
• Experience establishing and maintaining Level 4 and Level 5 schedules.
• Experience from EPC, modification, or field development projects in the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities

• Schedule planning, resource planning and cost control for the Civil scope.
• Communicate and integrate the plan from the subcontractor.
• Establish and maintain Level 4 and Level 5 schedules for the Civil scope.
• Lead project progress reviews and validate & challenge actual progress.
• Highlighting the critical path and risks linked to the project schedule and propose optimization actions.
• Follow up the overall scheduling according to contract, authority regulations and company work processes.
• Provide scheduling analysis to ensure correct management decisions.
• Communicate all potential scheduling issues to planning manager to ensure needed adjustments, mitigations and improved performance.
• Proactively search for opportunities to improve the schedule and ensure materialization of these.
