Job summary

Head Energy is seeking a Planning / Senior Planner to manage schedule, resources and costs for Civil scope on major projects. You will collaborate with subcontractors, maintain Level 4/5 schedules, and drive progress reviews to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires strong planning skills, proactivity, and the ability to identify risks and mitigation actions. English and Norwegian language capabilities are preferred for this position.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of project planning experience from EPC projects.
  • Preferably civil planning experience.
  • Proficient with Safran Project software and planning concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule planning, resource planning and cost control for the Civil scope.
  • Coordinate and integrate plans with subcontractors.
  • Establish and maintain Level 4 and Level 5 schedules.
  • Lead progress reviews and validate actual progress.
  • Highlight critical path and risks, propose mitigation actions.
  • Follow scheduling per contract, regulations and processes.
  • Provide scheduling analysis to management for decisions.
  • Identify and communicate scheduling issues early.

On behalf of one of our clients, we are looking for Planning / Senior Planner

Pnr: 23748

Job Description
  • Schedule planning, resource planning and cost control for the Civil scope. This requires proactively collecting information from various stkaholders in the project, including the subcontractor for the Civil scope.
  • Communicate and integrate the plan from the subcontractor.
  • Establish and maintain Level 4 and Level 5 schedules for the Civil scope.
  • Lead project progress reviews and validate & challenge actual progress.
  • Highlighting the critical path and risks linked to the project schedule for the scope and propose the optimization & mitigation actions.
  • Follow up the overall scheduling according to contract, authority regulations and company work processes.
  • Provide planning manager and project management with scheduling analysis to ensure correct management decisions.
  • Communicate all potential scheduling issues to planning manager to ensure needed adjustments, mitigations and improved performance.
  • Proactively search for opportunities to improve the schedule and ensure materialization of these.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years work experience within project planning from EPC projects.
  • Preferably experience from Civil planning
  • Experience with and working knowledge of Safran Project
Technical Qualifications
  • Extensive experience with Safran Project.
  • Strong understanding of schedule planning, resource planning, and cost control.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining Level 4 and Level 5 schedules.
  • Solid understanding of construction sequencing, work logic, and interfaces between disciplines.
Industry-Specific Qualifications
  • Experience from EPC, modification, or field development projects within the oil and gas industry.
  • Experience planning civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation activities.Familiarity with commissioning and completion processes is an advantage.
  • Ability to coordinate schedules with contractors and on-site construction activities.
