Job summary

MDE Østlandet is seeking a Senior Project Planner to lead schedule planning, resource planning and cost control for the Civil scope. You will coordinate with subcontractors, integrate their schedules, and establish Level 4 and Level 5 plans.

The role requires 5+ years in EPC project planning, extensive Safran experience, and the ability to manage schedules for oil and gas EPC, modification or field development projects. Mobility and cross-discipline collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical or commercial discipline required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning from EPC projects.
• Extensive experience with Safran.
• Experience establishing and maintaining Level 4 and Level 5 schedules.
• Experience from EPC, modification, or field development projects in oil and gas.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for schedule planning, resource planning and cost control for the Civil scope.
• Proactively collect and consolidate planning information from project stakeholders, including subcontractors.
• Communicate, review and integrate subcontractor schedules into the overall project plan.
• Establish, maintain and update Level 4 and Level 5 schedules for the Civil scope.
• Lead project progress reviews and validate and challenge reported progress.
• Identify critical path activities, schedule risks and potential delays, and propose mitigation measures.
• Follow up project scheduling with contract requirements and client work processes.
• Provide schedule analyses to Planning Manager and project management.
• Communicate potential scheduling issues to enable timely adjustments.
• Identify opportunities to optimize the schedule and ensure improvements are implemented.
• Coordinate schedules with contractors and on-site activities.
• Support interfaces between civil activities and other disciplines.
