NES Fircroft seeks a Planning / Senior Planner for civil scope in Asker or Haugesund. You will lead schedule planning, resource and cost control for EPC projects, coordinating with subcontractors and on-site teams to maintain Level 4/5 schedules and manage critical path risks.

The role requires proactive delivery, strong communication, and independent ownership of milestones. The position emphasizes collaboration across disciplines, adherence to contract requirements, and continuous schedule

Qualificações

• Master or Bachelor in technical or commercial topics; relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal qualifications.
• Minimum 5 years work experience within project planning from EPC projects.
• Preferably Civil planning experience.
• Experience with and working knowledge of Safran Project.
• Extensive experience with Safran Project.
• Strong understanding of schedule planning, resource planning, and cost control.
• Experience establishing Level 4 and Level 5 schedules.
• Knowledge of construction sequencing, work logic and interfaces between disciplines.
• Experience in EPC, modification, or field development projects in oil and gas.
• Experience planning civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation activities.
• Familiarity with commissioning and completion processes is an advantage.
• Ability to coordinate schedules with contractors and on-site construction activities.
• Structured and proactive; ability to identify risks and mitigation measures.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to work independently.

Responsabilidades

Location: Asker or Haugesund

Main tasks

• Schedule planning, resource planning and cost control for the Civil scope. This requires proactively collecting information from various stkaholders in the project, including the subcontractor for the Civil scope.
• Communicate and integrate the plan from the subcontractor.
• Establish and maintain Level 4 and Level 5 schedules for the Civil scope.
• Lead project progress reviews and validate & challenge actual progress.
• Highlighting the critical path and risks linked to the project schedule for the scope and propose the optimization & mitigation actions.
• Follow up the overall scheduling according to contract, authority regulations and company work processes.
• Provide planning manager and project management with scheduling analysis to ensure correct management decisions.
• Communicate all potential scheduling issues to planning manager to ensure needed adjustments, mitigations and improved performance.
• Proactively search for opportunities to improve the schedule and ensure materialization of these.
