Zusammenfassung

MDE Group in Asker, Norway seeks a Senior Planner to lead scheduling for Civil scope within EPC projects. You will develop, maintain, and optimize project schedules, coordinate with subcontractors, and report progress to the Planning Manager and PM team.

Required is a minimum of 5 years in EPC project planning, with Civil planning experience preferred and proficiency in Safran Project. Prior oil & gas EPC/modification or field development exposure is highly desirable.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and cost control for the Civil scope.
• Collect and integrate planning information from project stakeholders and subcontractors.
• Coordinate and integrate subcontractor schedules into the overall project plan.
• Establish and maintain Level 4 and Level 5 schedules for the Civil scope.
• Lead project progress reviews and validate reported progress against planned activities.
• Identify schedule risks and bottlenecks and communicate them clearly.
• Develop optimization and mitigation measures to maintain progress.
• Monitor schedules per contract requirements and company procedures.
• Provide scheduling analyses to Planning Manager and PM team to support decisions.
• Communicate deviations and ensure timely corrective actions and improvements.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve project schedules and implement initiatives.

Senior Planner

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and cost control activities for the Civil scope.
• Proactively collect and integrate planning information from project stakeholders, including subcontractors.
• Communicate, coordinate, and integrate subcontractor schedules into the overall project plan.
• Establish and maintain Level 4 and Level 5 schedules for the Civil scope.
• Lead project progress reviews and validate reported progress against planned activities.
• Identify and communicate critical path activities, schedule risks, and potential bottlenecks.
• Develop and recommend optimization and mitigation measures to maintain project progress.
• Monitor and follow up project schedules in accordance with contract requirements, authority regulations, and company procedures.
• Provide scheduling analyses and reporting to the Planning Manager and Project Management team to support informed decision-making.
• Communicate schedule deviations and potential issues, ensuring timely corrective actions and performance improvements.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve project schedules and ensure implementation of improvement initiatives.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree within a technical or commercial discipline.
• Relevant experience may compensate for a lack of formal qualifications.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning within EPC projects.
• Experience with Civil planning is preferred.
• Experience using Safran Project planning software.
• Experience from EPC, modification, or field development projects within the oil and gas industry is highly desirable.
