Edwards & Pearce in the United Kingdom is seeking a proven Business Development Manager for the International Logistics sector (Air, Sea and Land). You will drive new business opportunities, source contracts, and own regional growth end-to-end.

The role offers remote working, a car or allowance, pension, and a mobile plus laptop to support field sales success. You will maintain pipelines and forecasts and close deals to award.

Qualifications

• Must have an existing network in freight/logistics.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Driving license is required.

Responsabilités

• Drive new business opportunities through Business Development, sourcing and closing contracts.
• Own your region, build a new-business pipeline end-to-end: prospecting, qualification, discovery, capability, negotiation, close.
• Negotiate commercial terms and progress opportunities through to contract award.
• Maintain accurate pipeline and sales forecasts.
• Monitor market activity and identify new sectors and opportunities.
• Ensure a structured handover of new contracts to the operational teams.
