Job summary

Rambøll seeks a seasoned HV Technical Scope Manager to lead cross-functional teams in Norway, delivering high-voltage design and engineering excellence for substations and overhead lines. You will manage client interfaces, tenders, and project execution while mentoring engineers across borders.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD degree in electrical engineering.
• Extensive experience in HV/EHV substation or overhead line design, specification, and project execution.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and stakeholder management across countries.
• Proficiency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
• Project management certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams, including local and global experts, to deliver high-quality HV design and engineering solutions.
• Act as key client interface—ensuring clear scope understanding, safeguarding client interests, and building long-term partnerships.
• Oversee tendering activities, contract negotiations, and stakeholder management.
• Coordinate with other business areas to ensure integrated, cost-effective, and reliable solutions.
• Manage technical and commercial aspects of projects, ensuring schedules and budgets.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering collaboration across borders.
• Support site and field activities, including follow-up and quality assurance.
