Job summary

Ramboll seeks a HV Technical Scope Manager to lead our global Power Systems team in delivering high‑voltage design and engineering solutions for substations and overhead lines. You will coordinate with local and international experts to safeguard client interests and foster long‑term partnerships.

With a strong background in electrical transmission, you will mentor engineers, manage projects across borders, and contribute to Ramboll's sustainable energy goals in Norway.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in electrical engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience in HV/EHV substation or overhead line design.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
• PM certification is an advantage, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality HV design and engineering solutions.
• Act as key client interface, ensuring clear scope understanding and long-term partnerships.
• Oversee tendering activities, contract negotiations, and stakeholder management.
• Coordinate with other business areas to ensure integrated, cost-effective solutions.
• Manage technical and commercial aspects to align with schedules and budgets.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and collaborate across borders.
