Job summary

Rambøll is seeking a HV Technical Scope Manager to lead cross‑functional teams delivering high‑voltage design and engineering for substations and overhead lines. You will manage client interfaces, scope clarity, and tender activities while coordinating with global experts and multiple disciplines.

You will mentor engineers, drive technical excellence, and ensure projects meet schedules, budgets, and quality targets in a dynamic, international environment with flexible remote work options.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in electrical engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience in HV/EHV substation or overhead line design, specification, and project execution.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and stakeholder management across countries and disciplines.
• Strong understanding of electrical transmission system design, SCADA, protection, HV cables, and interfaces to other systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver HV design and engineering solutions.
• Act as key client interface, ensuring clear scope understanding and long-term partnerships.
• Oversee tendering activities, contract negotiations, and stakeholder management.
• Coordinate with buildings, transport, environment, water, and management consulting for integrated solutions.
• Manage technical and commercial aspects, aligning with schedules and budgets.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers across borders.
• Support site and field activities, including follow-up and QA.
