Job summary

Ramboll is seeking an HV Technical Scope Manager to lead multidisciplinary teams in design and engineering of HV/substation or overhead line projects. You will build strong client relationships and coordinate cross-country experts to deliver sustainable energy solutions.

The role combines technical leadership with project management, tendering, and mentoring of junior engineers. Flexible work arrangements and an international project portfolio await.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in electrical engineering or related field.
• Extensive HV/EHV substation or overhead line design experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in Norwegian and English.
• Project management certification is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver HV design and engineering solutions.
• Act as a key client interface with clear scope understanding and long-term partnerships.
• Oversee tendering, contract negotiations, and stakeholder management.
• Coordinate with other business areas to deliver integrated solutions.
• Manage technical and commercial aspects, ensuring schedules and budgets.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster cross-border collaboration.
• Support site and field activities with quality assurance.
