Omega 365 Consulting, Tananger, Rogaland, Norway, seeks an HR & Payroll professional for a six-month engagement. You will partner with stakeholders, maintain HR data quality in SAP, and support sick leave, payroll processes, and regulatory compliance.

Fluency in Norwegian and English, strong analytical skills, and 3–5 years of HR & Payroll experience are required. Opportunities to extend may arise based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in HR, Finance, Economics or Legal.
• Minimum 3–5 years HR & Payroll experience.
• High analytical abilities and data-driven approach.
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Fluent Norwegian and English, strong communication skills.

Assignment Description

• To be a proactive business partner on all elements of HR and Payroll
• Provide and ensure quality HR data for business purposes and analysis
• Perform in accordance with an in depth knowledge and understanding of HR and Payroll processes, systems and regulations

Accountability & End Result:

• Degree of accountability for the following will vary between position holders;
• Be a business partner, advise and support stakeholders on issues related to HR and Payroll
• Provide HR data for business purposes – sick leave, leave of absence, manning reports, variable pay etc.
• Analysis of HR data – payroll, employee data, organizational changes etc.
• Process and verify personnel and organizational changes from e.g. Manager Express
• Understand and prepare for the full Payroll process
• Ensure a good process for integration and data flow between HR BP and Payroll
• Ensure “gold” organization and employee data quality in SAP
• Responsible for Ekofisk Junior monthly payroll
• Responsible for various benefit programs and processes, like the Stock Saving Plan, sick leave, employee loans and leave of absence.
• Advise employees and supervisors on time sheet input and compensation
• Ensure compliance with company policies and union agreements.
• Welfare, manage and follow up budget, processes and decisions – active partner and driver in the Welfare Committee

• Manager Express Super user
• Laws and regulations related to Payroll

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in relevant discipline (i.e. HR, Finance, Economics, Legal etc.)
• Minimum 3-5 years HR & Payroll experience
• High degree of analytical abilities
• Strong computer skills including (but not limited to) SAP and Microsoft Office
• Excellent verbal and written skills in both Norwegian and English.
• Partners effectively and credibly across teams and organizations on all HR matters
• Builds capabilities in self and team through knowledge sharing
• Identifies, promotes and implements best practices in area of responsibility
• Professional ability to handle confidential employee and company information
• Manages detailed work within constant deadlines and time constraints

• Skillful at knowledge gathering and solicits support for ideas
• In-depth technical and administrative knowledge of work area and function; understands and interprets HR policies, procedures and systems

• Lack of formal education can be compensated by relevant in-depth experience
