Job summary

Kongsberg Precision Cutting Systems (Kongsberg PCS) is seeking a Global Support Engineer to deliver world-class technical support and ensure reliability of our digital cutting solutions worldwide. You will work with service engineers, distributors, product specialists, and R&D to resolve issues and drive improvements.

You will diagnose complex technical problems, provide advanced remote support, own cases, document solutions, and contribute to knowledge bases.

Qualifications

Experience in technical support, service engineering, or a similar role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Customer-focused, proactive, and solution-oriented.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Comfortable working independently and collaborating in an international environment.
A passion for learning and sharing knowledge.
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
Open to frequent travel.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve complex technical and product-related issues.
Provide advanced remote support to teams, distributors, and service partners worldwide.
Own support cases and ensure clear communication throughout the resolution process.
Document solutions and best practices in the knowledge base.
Collaborate with Product Management and R&D to address recurring issues and drive improvements.
Support and train first-line support teams and service partners.
Coordinate effective resolutions, including engineering support, spare parts, or field service intervention.
Create and maintain technical documentation and troubleshooting guides.
Continuously develop your technical expertise through training and knowledge sharing.
