Job summary

Kongsberg Precision Cutting Systems is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to strengthen our R&D team and develop firmware for advanced digital cutting systems. Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
• Solid experience with bare-metal embedded development on microcontrollers and knowledge of microcontroller architecture and hardware/software interaction.
• Strong C/C++ skills for embedded systems.
• Experience with real-time and event-driven systems, including RTOS concepts.
• Ability to read schematics and datasheets.
• English required, preferably Norwegian.
• Experience with embedded Linux, CAN/EtherCAT/SPI or in automation/robotics/sensor systems is a plus; knowledge of Git, CI/CD, build tools, or Python is beneficial.
• Pragmatic and analytical self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively.
