Job summary

Kongsberg Precision Cutting Systems is seeking a Global Support Engineer to deliver world-class technical support and ensure the reliability of our solutions worldwide. You will work with service engineers, distributors, product specialists and R&D teams to resolve complex issues and drive product improvements.

You will own support cases, contribute to the knowledge base, and train first-line teams while traveling internationally to support customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Engineer with experience in technical support, service engineering, or a similar role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Customer-focused, proactive, and solution-oriented.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex technical and product-related issues.
• Provide advanced remote support to teams, distributors, and service partners worldwide.
• Own support cases and ensure clear communication throughout the resolution process.
• Document solutions and best practices in the knowledge base.
• Collaborate with Product Management and R&D to address recurring issues and drive improvements.
• Support and train first-line support teams and service partners.
• Coordinate effective resolutions, including engineering support, spare parts, or field service intervention.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and troubleshooting guides.
• Continuously develop your technical expertise through training and knowledge sharing.
