Job summary

Victaulic in Norway seeks a Sales Engineer to drive sales and develop the Victaulic FP product range in Norway. You will promote the Victaulic System and demonstrate installation to customers and contractors.

The role requires a university degree in mechanical engineering (or equivalent), at least 5 years in the piping industry, strong communication in Norwegian and English, and willingness to travel up to 75%. A bonus system and internal training accompany the position.

Qualifications

• University/College degree, preferably mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
• Technical knowledge gained through experience (5+ years).
• Familiarity with the piping business or ability to quickly learn.
• Commercial mindset with customer focus and ambition.
• Results-driven and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to travel up to 75%.
• Strong communication skills and professional appearance.
• Fluent in local language and English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for sales and promotion of FP product range in the region.
• Report weekly to the Sales Director on activities and marketing information; meet budgeted sales.
• Promote the Victaulic System for binding application products.
• Field demonstrate proper installation of FP products and tools.
• Pursue and obtain acceptance and specification from Owners and Engineering Consultants.
• Ensure knowledge in the region through seminars, training, literature, and technical support.
• Coordinate with the local Victaulic distributor and maintain information flow.
• Visit job sites; follow up installation and train contractor personnel as required.
• Handle product claims with Corporate Engineering.
• Assist finance personnel in collecting receivables from customers.
• Coordinate with other sales colleagues in the territory.
