Job summary

DEKOM AG is seeking a dedicated warehouse and logistics assistant for a temporary assignment of approximately 3–6 months. You will support daily warehouse tasks, improve inventory accuracy and stock visibility, and ensure equipment is available for project needs.

• Experience in warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Experience receiving, checking, storing and dispatching goods.
• Confidence working with inventory records, quantities and project equipment.
• Experience using ERP, warehouse, inventory or order management systems or the ability to learn quickly.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Outlook and Excel.
• English language skills (CEFR B2 or higher).

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming deliveries and verify goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Inspect equipment for damage, shortages or discrepancies and report issues.
• Register incoming goods accurately in DEKOM systems and maintain inventory records.
• Organise warehouse locations for easy identification, storage and retrieval.
• Prepare, collect and allocate equipment for customer projects.
• Coordinate outgoing shipments, transport and courier services.
• Verify equipment against project documentation prior to dispatch.
• Support stock counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Process returned equipment and surplus materials.
• Maintain separation between project equipment, stock items and returns.
• Communicate delivery delays and logistics-related issues proactively.
• Contribute improvements to warehouse layout, stock control and processes.

What will I do?

I play a key role in ensuring that equipment and materials move efficiently through DEKOM's project operations. In this temporary assignment, I support day-to-day warehouse and logistics activities while helping improve inventory accuracy, warehouse organisation and stock visibility.Working closely with Procurement, Project Management, Engineering, Pre-Staging and Installation teams, I help ensure that the right equipment is available for the right project at the right time.

• I receive incoming deliveries and verify goods against purchase orders, packing slips and related documentation.
• I inspect equipment for damage, shortages or discrepancies and ensure issues are reported and resolved.
• I register incoming goods accurately within DEKOM systems and maintain reliable inventory records.
• I organise warehouse locations so equipment can be easily identified, stored and retrieved.
• I prepare, collect and allocate equipment required for customer projects.
• I coordinate outgoing shipments, transport and courier services where required.
• I verify equipment against project documentation prior to dispatch.
• I support stock counts and assist with investigating inventory discrepancies.
• I process returned equipment and project surplus materials.
• I maintain clear separation between project equipment, stock items and returns.
• I communicate proactively regarding delivery delays, shortages and logistics-related issues.
• I contribute practical improvements to warehouse layout, stock control and logistics processes.
• I help improve the accuracy and structure of DEKOM's warehouse and inventory administration during this assignment.

What do I have to bring? My skills and experience:

Must-have requirements

• Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory management, order fulfilment or a similar operational role.
• Experience receiving, checking, storing and dispatching goods.
• Confidence working with inventory records, quantities, serial numbers and project-related equipment.
• Experience using ERP, warehouse, inventory or order management systems, or the ability to learn new tools quickly.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Outlook and Excel.
• English language skills (CEFR B2 or higher).
• Availability for a full-time temporary assignment of approximately 3-6 months.
• Ability to work on-site in a warehouse environment and safely handle equipment and materials.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience within AV, IT, electronics or technical equipment environments.
• Dutch language skills.
• Experience supporting project-based logistics operations.

I can manage multiple priorities at the same time and maintain a structured approach in a busy operational environment. When I identify issues such as missing, damaged or incorrectly allocated equipment, I take ownership and look for practical solutions.
