Job summary

DEKOM AG is seeking an experienced Project Manager to own international AV/IT projects from order acceptance through installation and handover to Service. You will lead cross-functional teams across multiple countries, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, budget and quality standards.

The role requires strong communication with customers and stakeholders, a hands-on approach to risk and change management, and travel across Europe as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Project Manager.
• Experience delivering technical AV/IT, systems integration or installation projects.
• Experience managing scope, planning, budgets, risks, changes and stakeholders.
• Dutch and English at CEFR B2 or higher.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and project planning tools.
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly within the Netherlands, Belgium and internationally.

What will I do?

I take ownership of international AV/IT projects from order acceptance through installation, delivery and final handover to Service. Working closely with customers, colleagues, suppliers and installation partners across multiple countries, I ensure projects are delivered according to agreed scope, timeline, budget and quality standards.Key responsibilities include:

• I lead projects throughout the entire project lifecycle, from planning to successful handover.
• I manage project scope, milestones, deliverables, budgets, quality standards, risks and change requests.
• I coordinate Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Work Preparation, Installation and Service teams.
• I act as the primary point of contact for customers and maintain clear stakeholder communication.
• I organise project meetings, track actions, monitor progress and take corrective action when required.
• I coordinate international colleagues, suppliers and installation partners across different countries and time zones.
• I oversee installation and acceptance activities for meeting rooms, boardrooms, collaboration environments and international roll‑out projects.
• I maintain project documentation and ensure a professional transition into the service phase.

What do I have to bring? My skills and experience:

Must-have requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Project Manager.
• Experience delivering technical, AV/IT, systems integration, installation or comparable project-based projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing scope, planning, budgets, risks, changes and stakeholders.
• Dutch and English language skills at professional working proficiency level (CEFR B2 or higher).
• Experience working with Microsoft 365 and project planning or project administration tools.
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly within the Netherlands, Belgium and internationally when required by projects.

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor/HBO degree in Business, Engineering, IT, AV, Project Management or a related discipline.
• AVIXA CTS, PRINCE2, PMP, IPMA, Agile or comparable project management certification.
• Experience managing international technical, AV/IT or enterprise roll‑out projects.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Project or comparable planning tools.
• Additional European languages.
