Job summary

Uniglobe Alliance Travel is seeking a Technology Specialist to join a small tech team in Rotterdam. You will manage travel technology tools, provide user support, and ensure systems run smoothly while collaborating on security and process improvements.

The role offers hybrid work arrangements, with responsibilities across incident handling, testing new tools, and documenting procedures. Experience with Amadeus and related tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• MBO-4 or HBO work and thinking level.
• Good command of the Dutch language.
• 1 to 2 years of work experience in a technical, support, or functional management role.
• Affinity for business travel or the travel industry.
• Understanding the interrelationship between systems and processes.
• Analytical, accurate, and strong communication skills.
• Available for 32 to 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Functional management of Travel Technology tools, such as Amadeus, Atriis, Agency Manager, and Umbrella Faces.
• User management, access rights, and user support.
• Analyzing and resolving incidents so that systems are quickly functional again.
• Collaborate on information security guidelines (PCI, GDPR, and ISO 27001).
• Testing, setting up, and implementing new tools and systems.
• Testing new functionalities in existing systems.
• Improving workflows and processes.
• Update and expand documentation and manuals.
• Support on projects within the Technology department.
