Job summary

Vanderlande is seeking an IT Solution Support Engineer to maintain mission-critical airport IT environments. You will work on Linux/Windows servers, databases, virtualization, and interfaces, resolving complex incidents and contributing to security and lifecycle upgrades.

You will collaborate with global teams in engineering, cybersecurity, and service delivery, including 24/7 international support and occasional on-site activities. Strong English and proactive problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related technical discipline.
• Strong Linux/Windows Server administration and database familiarity (Oracle/SQL).
• Knowledge of virtualization, application hosting, and system integrations.
• Experience with monitoring and observability platforms; good cybersecurity awareness.
• Professional English; ability to work in international environments and travel.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliable operation and performance of enterprise IT environments.
• Analyze and resolve complex infrastructure, database, and middleware incidents.
• Manage upgrades, patching, vulnerability remediation, and lifecycle activities.
• Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes; maintain interfaces.
• Develop scripts and automation to improve operational efficiency.
• Serve as escalation point during deployments and international on-call support.
